As you may know, Bluegrass Music Association of Maine (BMAM) is a member-driven, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.  Members of the Board of Directors (2 year term) and the President (1 year term) are elected annually by the general membership of the association.  We are currently accepting nominations to appear on the fall election ballot until September 4, 2023.   This year five Board seats and one President seat will be filled. It seems these days people can’t get enough of bluegrass music!  North, South, East, and West there are shows, jams, concerts, festivals, etc happening.     One of our goals as an association is to help spread the word about when and where these events are taking place.  This can be a real job to keep up with! We’re sharing some exciting news from our friends at the Maine Country Music Hall of Fame! Attention High School aged musicians! The Maine Country Music Hall of Fame is sponsoring the second annual guitar competition for high school students.
