Hiroshi Shiibashi‘s 2008 to 2012 Nura: Rise of the Yokai Clan (Nurarihyon no Mago) manga is making a brief return this year with Nurarihyon no Mago ~Kage~, a new short series that will begin serialization in the May 2023 issue of Ultra Jump (which will be released on April 19). King Amusement Creative has announced that it has officially launched its Anileap 24/7 live streaming playlist project. For 24 hours a day all throughout the year, the new playlist will stream anime music on all music streaming platforms, including YouTube, Apple Music, and Spotify among others.  A 15-second animated promotional video was also released on King Amusement Creative’s YouTube channel. The recently announced The Idolmaster: Shiny Colors TV anime has received a “special video” that provides a better look at its 3DCG animation. The video features characters like Kogane Tsukioka, Meguru Hachimiya, Sakuya Shirase, and Mamimi Tanaka performing “Spread the Wings!!.” The Idolmaster: Shiny Colors anime is set to premiere in Japan in Spring 2024. A new character visual for the Kaiju No. 8 anime adaptation has been released. While the previous visual showed off protagonist Kafka Hibino’s kaiju form, the new visual features his human form. Kaiju No. 8 is set for a 2024 release date. The anime is based on the Shueisha-published manga by Naoya Matsumoto. The Aquarion anime series is making a return with a new production titled Sousei no Aquarion: Myth of Emotions. More information will be revealed later. The original Aquarion anime, Genesis of Aquarion (or simply Aquarion), aired in 2005 with 26 episodes. It was later followed by 2012’s Aquarion Evol and 2015’s Aquarion Logos. Capcom has released an anime promotional video for the upcoming Resident Evil 4 remake titled “Resident Evil Masterpiece Theater – ‘Leon and the Mysterious Village’ EP 1.” Nippon Animation is credited with production assistance for the anime short, which features a visual style reminiscent of 70s anime.  The “Masterpiece Theater” in the video’s title is a reference to the World Masterpiece Theater series (which has also gone by other names like Calpis Theater) that began in 1969. The One Piece Twitter account has released a visual for the previously announced One Piece on Ice, with the illustration featuring Luffy wearing ice skates. It also revealed the dates for the upcoming ice show. One Piece on Ice will first debut in Yokohama this August. It will later head over to Nagoya in September.
