This Athletic Brewing Co Run Wild IPA review comes to you courtesy of a lazy Sunday afternoon after playing tennis both Saturday and Sunday mornings this weekend and on the back of getting in from a very easy Sunday afternoon swim. While it isn’t the 600-700km weeks I used to do when racing bikes, I’d say it still qualifies as activity fitting for the Athletic Brewing Co IPA! The Athletic Brewing Co Run Wild IPA scores 8.9/10 due to its full, deep & complex profile that is defined by its heavier malty base with notes of dark marmalade before transitioning into a bold & bright hop-drive ..read more

I just finished can #9 of the BrewDog Nanny State Hoppy Ale and I’ve headed straight back to the fridge for can #10. If that doesn’t set the tone for this BrewDog non-alcoholic beer review, I don’t quite know what will! Let’s talk Nanny State Hoppy Ale. The BrewDog Nanny State Hoppy Ale scores an 8.3/10 with its complex profile built upon dark, roasty & chocolate noted malts that give way to an expectedly hop-filled body that is fresh, clean, & more, “fresh” than “citrusy & fruity”. After a brief gap, each mouthful finishes with a long lingering hop-driven bitterness. Key Takeaway ..read more

I’m so excited to have got my hands on the Gruvi beer range and bring you this Gruvi IPA Review! Over the last month, the Gruvi range has landed and I have finally got a chance to put my thoughts down on the IPA for you to get across! The Gruvi IPA is a hop-forward, boldly bitter and full flavoured non-alcoholic IPA characterised by its resiny freshness from pine and sweet malty base that also has bright and sweet citrus notes. The fact it contains no sugar and only 60 calories per can makes the achievement even more remarkable. Key Takeaways ABV: <0.5% Style IPA Calories: 17 c ..read more

I was a little shocked to see calories in non-alcoholic beer, thankfully for a change, it was a good level of shock – the level is so low and that is good news for everyone! As a general rule, I found non alcoholic beer has an average of 22.6 calories per 100ml and 1.94 grams of sugar per 100ml. This is up to 80% less calories than a regular soft drink and 83% less calories than traditional craft beer making it a great option for cutting down calories while enjoying a drink. How Many Calories Are In Non Alcoholic Beer? Calories in non alcoholic beer are significantly lower than in alcoh ..read more

The more alcohol-free beer you drink the more likely you are to be thinking (like I am), is non-alcoholic beer healthy? You’re also likely to be diving into labels, ingredients and calories of each drink to try and figure out whether your non-alcoholic beer is good for you. Non-alcoholic beer is generally healthy and my review of 39 beers found non-alcoholic beer averaged 2.1g of sugar and 22.6 calories per 100ml. That’s 80% less than a soft drink. This is due to non-alcoholic beer containing no alcohol, low sugar & low fat. Recently brewmasters have started adding in electrolytes to sup ..read more
