This January has been an adventure! This January has been an adventure so far! I have prayed more in the past three weeks than I have all year, I am ashamed to admit it but it is, nevertheless, true! On January 5th, 2024 I had my left total knee replaced. I was petrified. PETRIFIED! I know I told you guys that I had the right one done in 2022, but this time was different, VERY different. I think the first time, I was in the nicest way possible, clueless. I had never had a major surgery in my life, and had no idea what to expect. From checking in that morning, to going home that day, I was comp ..read more

Hello I missed you all! HELLO everyone! First of all I want to apologize for the abrupt end on the blog. I hit a wall emotionally in May of 2022. It was a super tough time for me, my family, and my marriage. Summer of 2022 was the toughest of my life! It was no way my intention to walk away from the blog, it just happened. I found I had nothing positive to say, and because of that I choose to stay silent. So much has happened in the past few years! SOOO much has happened in the past 2 years. It’s almost incredible when I think about it, and I have grown so much as a person. I have overcome suc ..read more

Have you ever stood in a cherry orchard in springtime when the blossoms are just starting to bloom? With the sun over head, just peaking through the clouds, and shining down on just you and the tree’s. You can hear this electric buzz all around you, it sounds somewhat like electricity. It is the buzz of the small little creatures that build life, that pollinate the planet. All in a day’s work, those little . It’s quiet and peaceful. You can only hear the , the breeze, and the beating of your own heart. It’s an ethereal experience. One I have only had a handful of times. And one I will trea ..read more

Some days we are reminded who is in charge!
Life In Wisconsin

Who is in charge? Do you guys ever have a day when you are reminded who is in charge? Yesterday was a crazy day in my daytime work life. Weird stuff happening all day. Slow traffic from patients but lots going on. Honestly, lots to be finished up on, and overseen, but nothing I can control. The turn in temperatures sure has everyone shook up. My team decided to let me sneak out a little early, and H and I took the roof off the Jeep to go for a drive in the country, and grab a burger. Little did I know what we were about to witness as the storms rolled in. Who is in charge in your life? Do you ..read more

You can subscribe to the webpage here: www.LifeInWisconsin.com Here comes the sleet……. I am off today from my full time job, snuggled in the master, curled up in a sherpa with my lab top and my Scout. Fueled by too much coffee and a dire need to see the sun shine again. I am starting to hear the icy sleet hit the windowpane. Work has been tough lately, life has been tough. When winter starts to dwindle I find myself making lists to get to spring. Spring is in 26 days! I can’t wait to post this GIF on my Insta feed. I am longing for the sun, it’s heat and warmth, and to sit outside, be outs ..read more
