According to the Slidell Independent, Amazon, the world’s largest retailer, has obtained a land clearing permit for property on the corner of Old Spanish Trail and Town Center Parkway. The Fulfillment Center is expected to bring approximately 400 well-paying jobs, with pay starting between $15-20 an hour.
