The postseason is underway in women’s college golf, and after NCAA Regionals concluded Wednesday, the NCAA Division I Women’s Golf Championship field is set for May 17-22 at Omni La Costa’s North Course in Carlsbad, California.

College golf’s championship season is that much closer to crowning a national champ.
The six regional championship sites that featured 12 teams and six individuals (72 teams and 36 individuals, total) concluded play Wednesday, and there were plenty of stellar performances and even some upsets. The top five teams (30 total) and the top individual (six total) not on a qualifying team from each regional advanced to the national championship at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa’s North Course in Carlsbad, California, May 17-22.

The field is set.
After three rounds of play across six regionals, 30 teams and six individuals (not on a qualifying team) punched their tickets to the 2024 NCAA Division I Women’s Golf National Championship at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa’s North Course in Carlsbad, California, May 17-22.
Wake Forest, the defending national champion, finished third at the Bermuda Run Regional, finishing behind Ole Miss, which picked up its first regional win in school history. Stanford senior Rachel Heck also won the Cle Elum Regional, her first win in more than two years.

The NCAA Division III Men’s Golf Committee has announced the
teams and individuals who will partake in the 2024 NCAA Division III Men’s Golf Championships.
The championships, which will be held May 14-17 at Boulder Creek Golf Club, in Boulder City, Nevada, will be hosted by UNLV and the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority. The team and individual champions will be determined after 72 holes of play or the conclusion of the last fully completed round. Jenna Birch promised her two seniors, Viktoria Krnacova and Agatha Alesson, that they would make an NCAA Regional during their time at Little Rock if they decided to commit. They did so, and then Birch and the duo, her first recruiting class as head coach, helped make that promise come true.
However, it was almost taken away because of travel issues.

The NCAA Division I women’s golf regionals get underway Monday at six sites across the country.
Seventy-two teams and 30 individuals not on those teams will be vying for a shot at making the 2024 NCAA Championships, set to begin May 17 at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, California. Kendall Griffin had every right to be picky. But she knew right away she wanted to work for Brian May.
Griffin was finishing her college golfing career at Louisville, her fifth collegiate season playing after four years donning purple and gold for LSU.
