My dad is going to do the backing plate, but my son just got his first bull and is looking at someone local to Boil/Clean/Whiten the skull and do a good job on it so it lasts.  Any recommendations?  Grand Canyon's Euro guy quit so they are not doing those now...he was the first option.   Thanks in advance ..read more

Going to Euro mount my sons cow elk skull, am considering maceration vs boiling. How important is water movement for maceration?   Could I put the skull into a water filled plastic tote with the lid on and leave  it in my backyard for a few days before pressure washing it?   Or is there more to the maceration process?  If its skinned and brains removed before going into the water how rank will the smell be- as in my neighbors smelling it? I'm on a 1/3 acre residential lot, so they will be about 100 ft away from the property line.   ..read more

My cousin lives in australia and he killed a couple of deer in hawaii, the taxidermist couldn't send it to australia so the guy sent them to me now my cousin asked to put him in touch with a taxidermist that can export with the right paperwork, he has an australian export agent that will contact the taxidermist and get it going. if any  of you guys know a taxidermist or taxidermist that are here please contact me and i will give him your number. I’ve been doing euros for myself and for friends and family for a few years now and I’m looking into starting a business.    I’ve had experience with all animals in AZ mainly elk, coues deer, mule deer and javelina. Just got my Nevada Ram, and I prefer euro mounts. I intend to offer the full body cape for sale at $3800obo.
