I truly don't need VPN for everything but if I turn split tunneling on, I assume I need background processes running as well, I can make it where VPN issued used for certain processes/apps? Does that mean I always need NordVPN running as well?

Hi everyone,
I have docker installed in my Terramaster NAS, and I created a stack to run gluetun and qbittorrent via docker. I am using OpenVPN, as Wireguard is not yet supported on Terramaster NAS. The setup works, but the download speed is absolutely terrible.
For reference, on the NAS, downloading movie ### on qbittorrent connected to gluetun show a speed of around 200 Kb/s, whereas on my laptop, qbittorrent with nordvpn connected and the same movie goes at 15 Mb/s. Any ideas?
Below my docker compose:

I want to be able to cast Spotify and Tidal without the need to constantly pause my VPN. I added Tidal, Spotify and I assumed I would also need to add Google Home as well to split tunnelling but this didn't work. How can I manage to do this if at all?

Hi all!
I have a Windows 10 computer at home, which I connect remotely to. In the past I used to open a port of my router and use microsoft remote desktop to connect to it, but this is not considered safe, as I'd have this port open for everyone in the world. So I thought to try to do the same with meshnet instead, and it does seem to work fine - I can connect to it without opening a port in my router.
However, when the home computer is rebooted, I need to login to my windows account for NordVPN to start and autoconnect - even though I configured it to "Launch the app at Windows startup", as ..read more

Hey guys, I'm looking for a router that will primarily support a media player/IPTV. I don't need the best WiFi capability, I only require two or three Ethernet ports so nothing fancy. Hoping for something under $250, any recommendations?

Just installed that VPN and noticed my CPU fans were spinning like Crazy. Looked at temps and get High as 80°, looked at Activity and noticed ThreatProtection were using 90% of my CPU. Since I'm using a 7800X3D that's not normal at all. I think that's a bug but It could harm a PC very badly. Stay safe.

On 20th of April I received an email that my subscription ends on June 3rd, and that it will auto renew in 30 days, then on April 25th I get out of the blue a $1 SM.NORD* CCCHECK GB charge, that without having done anything on my part, didn’t update any billing info or card, and definitely didn’t authorise this, there are a lot of choice words to describe this: I leave it to your imagination, but obviously I’m done with nordvpn
