Mary and Jack’s epic love story was nearly ten years in the making before their unforgettable wedding day at the incredible Lincoln Hall downtown. They met like so many college students did back in 2014 – on Tinder – where Jack complimented her haircut and they made plans to meet up for coffee on Notre Dame’s campus. Mary and Jack bonded over art, volleyball and a shared love of 80’s music. In April 2016 Mary and Jack’s exciting junior year of college was suddenly put on hold when they were in a severe car accident. Their life-threatening injuries landed them in the ICU where they we ..read more

Ariel and Brad met in March 2015 at a mutual friend’s house to watch a Michigan State basketball game. They were in the same fraternity together and quickly became good friends. They continued to hang out often and officially started dating in September that year. Since Ariel and Brad started dating so young they have been through so many life events together – graduations, first jobs, promotions, and buying their first home together. After all of that, it only made sense to make things even more official after 7.5 years. On December 29, 2022, Brad asked Ariel to marry him while they were visi ..read more

We first connected with Emily years ago when her daughters Jenna and Natalie were little, she came by with the girls and Lindsay and I took some sweet summer photos with watermelons in my backyard. Since then it has been a joy to watch Jenna and Natalie grow up and occasionally run into Emily around town. We were excited to know that Emily met someone when we first heard about Peter. As their relationship grew so too did their family and in May of 2022 they welcomed their son Jayden. Lindsay was so happy to catch up with Emily and her girls at Jayden’s newborn session and it has been a joy to ..read more

We first connected with Kait and Luke through our friend McKenna, whose gorgeous Metropolis Ballroom wedding was one of the highlights of our 2023 season. After our first phone call I knew that Kait would be the most laid-back bride and we couldn’t wait to celebrate their Spring wedding! Our April weather had been quite mild this year but on the day of Kait and Luke’s wedding things took a turn and it was chillier than we had hoped. But that didn’t put a damper on the love and beauty that was interwoven into every moment of Kait and Luke’s wedding day. We arrived at the hotel for “getting read ..read more

Jeanne and Kevin’s love story may well be one of the most romantic we have ever had the honor of witnessing. With over sixteen years of friendship as their foundation, being alongside Jeanne and Kevin as they made things official and became husband and wife was an absolute joy. Jeanne’s first memories of Kevin go back to their Sunday morning CCD class at St. Christina’s (the same church where they would get married 16+ years later!) where she said he was “one of the only well-behaved and respectful kids”. Kevin remembers meeting Jeanne in high school through mutual friends and valuing their fr ..read more

Sarah & Jarrod’s Perfect Gaelic Park Wedding

Sarah and Jarrod first met at a bar downtown after she attended a Shania Twain concert. They didn't hit it off right away, but separately told their mutual friend Kathryn that they thought the other was cute. From then on Kathryn did what she could to invite Sarah and Jarrod to the same events. After a handful of events these two were talking non-stop. Sarah and Jarrod did everything to keep their long-distance relationship going – whether it was Jarrod spending every weekend in Chicago or Sarah making the trip to Detroit. The rest is history. Sarah and Jarrod got engaged near Saint Germain, W ..read more
