Recently I have re-acquired a crossbow that I very briefly owned 10 years ago. I never hunted with it back then but I am trying to set it up to perform the best to its capability. Shot the rig today. A dozen Tenpoint Elite 400 bolts. I have three that shoot the same hole at 20 yards, and two more that are within a 1/4" or a tad more. Two were about an inch low and inch right. Three were about an inch right. Two others did their own thing, 2" off bullseye different directions. One of those was in my quiver last year. Lesson learned. Sure wish I had done this before. Just bought supplies for the upcoming season: 6 new Excalibur quill bolts, replacement blades for the boltcutter broadheads that took deer last year.
