All photos are by the amazing Leigh Anne Brader Photography Time is a weird thing. It can feel slow and fast at the same time. Time has been both for us with our sweet Nolan. It feels like we cannot remember life without him in our family, on the other hand I feel like I have blinked and he is approaching a year old. If you follow me on instagram (@lacegraceblog) I have shared Nolan’s last 10 months and all the fun things we have done together as a family of four; however I had yet had time to share him here on the blog.  Here is our precious Nolan Carter. How did we choose his first ..read more

*** All photos are taken by the amazing Leigh Anne Brader Photography LLC you can follower her on Instagram- here *** From the moment I found out that I was having my first boy (Luke), I imagined a moody, retro but sophisticated nursery. It was important for me to create a nursery that my sweet boy would grow into and not want to completely revamp once he entered kindergarten.  Back in spring 2019 when our wonderful photographer, Leigh Anne Brader Photography LLC, came to take newborn photos of Luke, his Nursery was not fully decorated. Fast forward a year and a half later and it is ..read more

Where to Eat in Tulum Mexico
Lace And Grace

Tulum, Mexico isn’t known as a vacation hot spot for nothing; from the pristine beaches, unique boutique hotels, Mayan Ruins and magical cenotes, it is easy to see why Tulum is so popular. But one thing I kept seeing again and again in my Tulum research was how good the restaurants were. Tulum is not a destination where you stay and eat at your resort the whole time, no way. In Tulum it is the “thing” to hop around from beach club to beach club and to try different restaurants for your meals. One would expect to eat Mexican food for a week straight (not that that is a bad thing, this girl can ..read more

Hello there internet world, I hope everyone is hanging in there. 2020 has sure been rough hasn’t it? It has felt like the longest year ever but has been going by in a flash for me at the same time. I know I have been MIA for a ridiculous amount of time on the blog for awhile now, I am sorry. I do not usually post these kinds of posts, but felt I should give you guys a life update. In early January I started a new position for my day job and tried to take some time to put all my focus on learning the ropes all while juggling an almost one year old (at the time), which proved to be pretty challe ..read more

The Mayan Ruins of Tulum

When my husband and I chose Tulum, Mexico along the Yucatán Peninsula it was not just because of its beautiful beaches and turquoise waters. Yes, we were in dire need of a relaxing vacation but knew we would get bored siting on the beach for an entire week. Tulum is home to many attractions including the only Mayan Ruins located on coastline cliffs. The Mayan Ruins of Tulum are an easy taxi drive from both Tulum Town and the Tulum resort beach area making it the perfect quick trip on your vacation. Parts of the ruins are said to have been built starting in 564 AD and was inhabited until the en ..read more

One of my favorite things to do when visiting a new place is to check out their craft beverage scene.  Exploring a town’s wineries, breweries and distilleries allows you to meet amazing local owners and the chance to taste different craft beverage recipes that have been made with love and more than likely local ingredients.  Gettysburg Pennsylvania is not only home to some pretty big historical events, it has a craft wine, beer, cider and spirits trail called the Adams County Pour Tour. Get in on the fun with your very own Adams County Pour Tour passport and trail map (both free of c ..read more
