Folding Kodak 120 conversion

Hi all, I have a No.3 Folding Kodak, model G. These cameras were of course designed to shoot 118 film, But mine, which I got from my father, who got it from his father, has at some time been modified to take 120. It seems to have been done in the form of some sort of kit, perhaps even by a Kodak technician, the only thing that tipped me off to it perhaps not being factory is the slightly crudely cut edge around the second red window on the back for 120 film. I will attach photos... Read more ..read more

As much as I like to use modern cameras there's still something I find poetic about an old one. Mine seen below is a Kodak No. 2 Folding Autographic from 1920 and it really is in fine condition. Understandably there's some scuffing to the outside, but take the cover off and open it, you see mechanical camera art. Hi to everyone, I was just wondering if any older experienced people would be able to advise me regarding 60’s & 70’s slides please ? I have tried to find a suitable projector so that he can see a lot of the past memories he took, especially as most of his family have now passed. They aren’t the normal 35mm size film . The slide’s dimensions for the outside frame size is 70mm x 70mm and the actual viewing... Read more ..read more

Greetings ... I have almost finished a 2-part retrospective on Ansel Adams for our camera club ... and I was inspired to go through my Moms old equipment included things given her by her older brother who graduated from Brook's Institute in the early 1940s. Several items are the same as Ansel Adams used (i.e. Weston Master II Light Meter and an SEI Spot Meter) But none of her cameras. In revisiting one of her cameras, a Kodak AG (Dr. Nagel-Werk) 33 with 170mm f/7.7 lens (image attached), I... Read more ..read more
