When fellow cyclists reached out about doing engagement photos during their cycling trip in Arizona I definitely jumped at the opportunity! We chose Papago Park in Phoenix for the beautiful unique desert scenery. Jess and Jay had just finished a week long cycle packing adventure in Tucson and we met up in the evening before ..read more

Amor Boutique Hotel is one of my favorite destination locations.
Shea and Jacob chose the beautiful destination wedding in Sayulita Mexico. Eighty of their closest loved ones joined in on a fun weekend celebration. Flying in from all over the West Coast getting out of the rainy fall and into full on sunshine!
The hotel has plenty of incredible locations to host ceremony, reception, and guests for an all in one wedding! The couple chose to have their ceremony at the Kissing Garden. Lush full greenery surrounding them and right in the heart of the villa. Then a short walk to the top of the prop ..read more

Things to know about getting married at JT House. Let me just say that weddings at JT House Tucson are out of this world. The location couldn’t be more ideal with desert fully surrounding the property. The Posada it self is sprawling, perfectly curated, so cozy and inviting. The best place to host an intimate wedding celebration. It’s also beautiful in full sun, sunset, and moon light. Hands down my favorite venue in all of Tucson…you’ve been warned!!
Earlier this year I had the great joy of photographing a micro wedding in this cozy magical space. I had such a great time exploring the propert ..read more

I’ve been doing super 8 wedding videography for a few years now. Seven to be exact and while the first few years sharing the idea to my photo couples wasn’t exactly the hot thing…now it’s on fire! I absolutely love being a super 8 wedding videographer and want to share with you a few tips for your experience.
The video is a highlight reel of the day so remember to just be in the moment and I will capture little memories throughout my time with you. Typically I shoot super 8 in tandem with photos so it’s a seamless flow of the day. I shoot 3 rolls of film which translates into roughly 12 minute ..read more

When talking about their wedding day a sense of place, of home was such a huge factor for Elizabeth and Jeffery. So they decided to have their ceremony at the bride’s parents home in McCall, Idaho and reception at Shore Lodge. For me I knew incorporating the home in the photos was a must as it held such special memories to Elizabeth, her family, and now new memories with Jeffery.
After the ceremony we all went down to Shore Lodge for cocktail hour and reception. Despite the spotty bits of rain all the guests had a wonderful time enjoying drinks by the lake. Dinner was held in the upper ballroo ..read more

Elise and David shared an intimate destination wedding at Old Edwards Inn in North Carolina. They contacted me in the spring expressing their desire for beautiful intimate photographs without any pressure…just in the moment! So, on a beautiful fall day with 20 of their closest loved ones they did just exactly that. Low key easy going getting ready, laughter, good drinks and big smiles. They held the ceremony at the old chimney stacks on the property. After the “I Do’s” the staff at the inn took us up the hill on golf carts to witness the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountain sunset. Fall leaves were j ..read more

Earlier this summer I had the absolute joy to photograph Kelsey + Patrick’s Tucson Engagement Photos. A quick flight from Boise I hopped down to Tucson on a week day for a quick 24 hour trip. We talked before the session about location, time of day, and clothing options so when I arrived for the session they were stress free and so excited to run around their new home capturing some fun moments together.
I think it’s so important to include places that are special to each couple so I asked them to pick a spot that they love to go to on date nights. We started at a local brewery Borderlands (ve ..read more

Mackenzie and Tony got married in June of 2021. Their Intimate Sun Valley wedding was a pivot from..you guessed it…the pandemic. Now don’t let that fool you as this wedding weekend was an absolutely beautiful, emotional and thoughtful event. Kelley of Blue Bottle Events (1000% recommend her) made this day go smoothly without a single hiccup but if there was one no one noticed-she’s that great!
The couple got married in the bride’s family home that her and her mother designed. Together they run an incredible design firm in Portland, Dailey Design Studio.
The couple wanted me to capture the day ..read more
