It has been a long couple of years.  My last wedding shoot was before the Pandemic hit.  I'm looking back at the notes I have on how hot it was that night, and again we find ourselves in a heat wave.  We shot these bridals in the morning, in the hopes that we could avoid the 100 degree heat that will melt a bride faster than anything, and make a groom wish he was anywhere else.  This is not the experience I want my couples to have during our photoshoots.  The weather was tolerable on July 10 and we got some great images for the couple to enjoy.  I'll be glad when ..read more

My week will be spent editing wedding images for the Fischer/Hunter families. They had a beautiful wedding for their children this weekend on one of the hottest days of the year. It's a good thing I've been shooting images in Maui for the last 20 years, and have plenty of experience with those kinds of conditions.
