It has come to the end of the road for my old beloved e620. Bought a different (non obsolete) brand pro camera. I have an Olympus battery grip 4 batteries and 14-54 2.8 3.5 lens on her. Yes, the new OM-1 digital m43 camera was announced this week. 20mp stacked BSI quad pixel sensor providing blackout free 50 fps with AF and AE. Camera is about the same size and weight as the EM-1 III and at $2,200, cost more. Hello, I shoot birds and recently went back to shoot with an OMD-EM1 Mark II and really love it since it's a lot better than my old OMD-EM1. Just curious to know if anyone know if the OMD-EM1 Mark III or the OMD-EM1X focus faster than the Mark II ? I shoot Canon for the last 45 years and dabbled with Olympus but sold off my 300mm F4 PRO and the Leica/Lumix 100-400mm since the OMD-EM1 could not match my Canon 7D Mark II + 500mm F4 IS. This is not a troll question. I just bought the Olympus OM-D to replace my Nikon D7100, mainly to save on weight and bulk for taking travel photos. I just got back from a trip to Hawaii and was very surprised when processing the photos in Lightroom. I had expected that the low light performance would be better and the images might be a little better. Found this amazing Olympus Pen EM Film camera at a thrift store. However, the battery door seems to be missing its latch or the battery spring seems to be missing.
