The last few years I've wondered why the gauges on my 2012 4025 stopped working.... sometimes. It turns out they work fine. The problem is that if it's not run in a while, the plastic gauge needle "sticks" to the post. It's something about the type of plastic they use. I took off the panel and carefully scraped the black paint off the posts, and put some silicone spray there where they touch, and bingo, problem solved. My Mahindra mpower 85 beeper starts after running the tractor about 20 minutes and won’t quit till the engine completely shuts off when you kill it. There are no lights on the dash and the healthy light will still cycle on despite the beeping. I want to replace the positive battery cable and aside from the price of the oem, I don’t care for the light gauge clamps. The question I have is there’s a second cable attached to the positive clamp with plug in connector that goes to the main 50 amp fuse. I put a new loader valve on my 4035 and I'm not sure I have the power beyond hose hooked up in the right spot. The loader or 3 point don't work until I put the hydraulic lever beside the seat either forward or back and move the loader valve back. The hydraulic lever beside the seat will not do anything in center. Pb is the factory power beyond, pr is pressure, rt is return to tank. Can someone explain what I'm doing wrong. ok so i got the starter hooked up and it works fine. now i started the tractor and it wouldn't turn off. im thinking ignition switch is shorted out, because i can turn it off and take the key completely out and it just stays running. just seeing if there is a reoccurring problem like this. also. when i hooked up the starter there was a solenoid on the other side of the engine i believe connected to the injectors that was getting extremely hott with the ignition turned on engine not... doing a little grading with the box blade over a path i have graded multiple times before without issue and then a tree jumps out and grabs the rops broke off and landed on me in the tractor. I was lucky, it hit me in the back and not the head and only took out the LH turn signal. It could have been much worse ..read more
