Hi there Gents, Helping my elderly neighbor out with his 4550. Bought a service manual, but the electrical schematic page is illegible as it's tiny. Can anyone help me out with that? That being said... Tractor does not charge. Alternator is good, but my experience tells me there is an issue elsewhere... I have been working on and off on my Mahindra 2555 for months now. I had a bad knock and a lot of white smoke. Could not determine the problem. Finally, this week I removed the engine and found that cylinder 2 and 3 the connecting rod bearings were totally gone. Cylinder 1 was fine. To my knowledge the tractor never ran hot on me. Two things that may, or may not be related. 1: The rubber boot on my control stick came loose. I assume I can use a zip tie or two to secure it? I don't recall what was there... 2: My bucket doesn't want to float anymore.
