I want to start off by wishing all the wonderful women out there a very
Happy Mother’s Day!
Never did I envision just how much becoming a mother would change me, challenge me, and mold me into the most independent, strongest version of myself. Then the good Lord decided to bless me with TWO daughters. Girl power every where! He knew I had a role to play and having my two beautiful miracles look up to me has added fuel to my fire to inspire others.
This Mother’s Day is all about being present and taking time for myself. Truly putting everything else aside and basking in my blessings. It is not ..read more

If there is one thing to know about me it’s that I genuinely could live off of tacos. Any chance I get to have a taco night I take it! I love hosting dinner for Cinco de Mayo for so many reasons. Mexican food is my favorite meal of choice, and when I say my husband Morgan makes the best tacos in the world, it’s no exaggeration.
He should seriously have his own cooking show. I’m working on trying to get him to start cooking on social media because every time I post what he cooks in my stories on Instagram, I get SO many messages for recipes or more details. He has IMMENSE cooking talent! But ..read more

For as long as I can remember, I knew Jesus was my Lord and Savior. I haven’t talked about my christian journey on here much, other than I am one, but I grew up with my mom being avid about us being in church, and church activities. I have been active in every church I attend. The community of a church just makes me feel so included and like I want to do more than just sit on the sidelines and watch the action. From Awanas, to starring in Christmas plays, to singing in choir, and volunteering when I can, a church should be like a second home. I have been lucky enough to have that a few time ..read more

Happy St. Patrick’s day!
For those who have been following for a little while, you may remember the DIY Kids Market From Pallet Wood project I completed a few months ago. It was a spur of the moment idea I had after a few large deliveries and many nice sturdy pallets left behind, I thought, I could do something with those! Each season I change it out to match the theme, so currently we have the Kids Market St. Patrick’s Day Pot Of Gold shop.
I recently found this great balloon frame that had great reviews. It can be a whole circle, an arch, or you can use the two poles as columns. The idea fo ..read more

It is always so exciting to me when Spring time rolls around. Those winter months often feel like they will never end. That cold seasonal depression tends to set in when February holds a week long drizzly, cold, overcast week. But now the sun is back and warming everything around us! Blooms are popping up left and right and my Spring wardrobe is ready to make its come back.
Making a comeback is kind of the theme of this post. Spring fashion this year includes 90’s style retro looks and I am here for it! I am sharing a few ways you can hop on this trend if you are a 90’s style lover like me!

One of the biggest excitements when buying our first home was thinking about all of the parties and dinners I could host. Having my own space to set for guests has been one of the most joyous spots of the last few years. I’ve hosted so much, I decided to round up 5 Tips For Being A Good Host. These pillars are my go-to checklist when preparing a dinner night at my house. It could be as lax as just my parents, to a fancy dinner on our patio with friends and family.
Being a good host involves being a gracious and welcoming presence. It involves being attentive to your guests’ needs and making t ..read more

This craft was a simple one and only takes a few tools and supplies:

Bring on all the X’s and O’s because
I’m ready to celebrate Galentine’s day in style! I partnered up with Oriental Trading Company and picked out so many awesome party details from their site to throw the best Galentine’s Day Glam Bash ever. I love how many options they have to choose from to piece together the perfect soiree.
I am honestly so happy that Parks And Rec introduced Galentine’s Day to us, and I don’t foresee myself ever NOT celebrating my gals this time of year. Valentine’s Day will still be special, since I will always have my forever Valentine, but telling my Gal’s how much th ..read more

I’m dreaming of a white Christmas
is something we are all singing right now down in North Carolina. We are patiently waiting on this cold front set to come through tomorrow night with fingers crossed that we might have our very first white Christmas! I setup the DIY Kids Market from Pallett Woodproject I recently made for my girls and transformed it into a sweet little Kids Christmas Tree Farm in our backyard.
I know this Kids Market will be something that evolves over time. I plan on creating new magic with it each season, but I have a feeling this Christmas ones will bring the greatest am ..read more
