We’ve been trying to solve this mystery for almost 15 years. He picked this head up in the early 2000s, and it’s something written from the 80s/90s previous owner. It’s never looked more clear due to the sun wear during our recent outdoor gigs. I don’t want to say what we think it is, because I don’t want to sway opinion yet. This amp was working perfectly fine for nearly 6 months and just recently gave out. It turns on and everything but only produces a static noise when plugging in my guitar. My guitar and cable works on my other amp but won't work on this. What can this be and how can I get it fixed? Side note: I did tighten the jack but I am pretty sure I tightened it before the amp broke.
