Since the site is obviously moving to Discord, at the very least I thought i might be worth discussing issues and questions (and a few tips I just learned) people might have regarding the move and the attributes of the new site. I'll start with a list of questions/comments. No idea if any of these are addressable by the user (e.g., settings) or not, but figured I'd ask. Here goes. Not sure if I should post on the actual Discord site, as it's very busy. @NJwxguy78- any thoughts on this stuff? Since it is 2023, and many of us have been tracking weather for almost 30 years, technology has evolved. Just as we no longer use MySpace and Friendster, we believe the very near future will not have room for clunky boards and 1990’s style forums. We have had several issues and concerns with ongoing Invision board changes and unresolved errors. From a maintenance standpoint there are a number of challenges with 33andrain in its current form. hey guys! looks like there is an increasing risk for a front-end thump into NE, the HV, and N NJ, so this is the place to talk about it in order to separate from the exciting LR discussion.
the main feature to pay attention to will be the confluence over SE Canada, as it's forcing the system to take an most due E track at a given latitude, which seems to be around the MI/IN border. if the confluence trends stronger, the transfer can happen sooner, similar to what happened with today's system. if it trends weaker, the opposite is true.
