Super 8mm and wedding films
You may have noticed recently a film effect that is starting to pop up on Instagram, in wedding films, and even in commercials and ads.
So, what’s the deal with super 8mm and why are we so passionate about it? Well, it’s not just super 8mm that we’re obsessed with but the affect it has on our films and the emotional response it produces.
We are driven by nostalgia and authenticity.
We feel that film, real film, triggers a true emotional response in a way that is not possible by film emulation. You can try, but it’s just not the same. Trust us, we tried ..read more

“Being married to you is the greatest joy of my life.”
We love this film so much because it really encapsulates what it felt like on that October 9th day. From the start of the day through the evening, it was a party. We can’t thank Jody and Ted enough for trusting us to capture their day. Check out the full film below.
In addition to digital, we were able to capture so many amazing moments on Super 8mm. Check out the super 8mm edit below!
The sweetest moment happened during the reception where Jody sang a beautiful song to Ted. Check us out on TikTok where this clip has gone viral!

“I am as I ever was and ever shall be; yours yours yours”
Tina and Jon’s wedding in October was so romantic! Like many others, they had to postpone their original wedding which was slated to take place at Disney. Instead, they hosted their closest friends and family at the beautiful Bedford Village Inn in New Hampshire. The leaves were falling, the air was brisk, and everything felt perfect. We’re so happy with how this film came out.

Madison & Sam | July 24th, 2021 “All things are made possible by the astounding love shared by these two spirits.”
When we met Madison and Sam for the first time during their couple’s session, we clicked with them instantly. They’re such fun people to be around and their love for each other absolutely radiates. It’s truly amazing to witness.
For our couples session, we took their golf cart from their house down to the beach for some cocktails (they do this often after work, so cute!) and to watch the sunset and fourth of July fireworks. They danced around on the beach and we shot a ton of ..read more

An elopement wedding is a wonderful, intimate experience, and one that deserves an amazing photographer – here’s 3 of our favorites! Corey Lynn Tucker
Not your average elopement photographer, Corey Lynn Tucker is someone that couples invest in to join their adventure, not simply turn up with a camera. She encourages a friendship between her and her clients, with an ethos that an elopement photographer should be your best friend, hype woman and confidante during your biggest adventure. Corey Lynn Tucker is also a fan of the beauty that nature provides, often framing her couples barefoot in the ..read more

“Age of Aquarius” is a styled shoot dreamt up by the creative genius Corey Lynn Tucker and hosted by her photography education and workshop company The Luminists.
We were so excited when Corey asked us to be a part of it! She is a dear friend and an incredibly talented photographer, so we knew it was going to be an amazing shoot.
Corey assembled an all-star team of vendors to make this shoot possible. From the dresses, florals, and makeup to the linen, paper goods, and flatware; no detail was left unturned.
The vibe of the day was one of lightheartedness, creative exploration, and genuine con ..read more
