Today I’m sharing my inspiration board for a floral inspired powder room that I designed for a home in Savannah, Georgia. The showstoppers are the Farrow and Ball Uppark (BP 549) covered walls and the pink Watermark wall mount sink. The Watermark sink is the same color as Farrow and Ball Setting Plaster so I painted the ceiling the same color to bring out the colorful sink. I loved the shape of the gold mirror from One Kings Lane. The curvature of the mirror really highlights the climbing flowers in the wallpaper. When I hear many families talk about the adoption process, I often hear how long it takes for families and children to connect. Which is hard to believe because there are over 120,000 children in the United States Foster Care System who are waiting to be adopted. And the good news is that there are families who are licensed, approved and waiting to adopt these very children. Yet the child welfare system in the United States lacks appropriate tools to efficiently and appropriately connect children to families.
