Written by: Kelly Meade (10/13/2023) New Jersey based AOH Music has released their second EP of 2023 titled Relentless. With it, band members Brianne Nealon, Jack Garno & Jimmy Meier bring 5 tracks that are sure to speak into the hearts of listeners and draw them into a deeper relationship with God. “Restless” is a song that I feel like we all can relate to in some way. Whether you struggle with anxiety, worry or a general uneasiness, we can find peace & rest when we bring all of our concerns, doubts and fears to our Heavenly Father who will embrace us with His love and grace that n ..read more

Written by: Abby Thigpen (9/28/2023) Alrighty friends. It’s been a minute since I’ve actually listened to RED but I always fire up their tunes when I need my world to be rocked for a bit. I remember when they were on the Winter Jam tour and they tore up the stage with blazing fires, swinging guitars and screams you could feel in the core of your bones. My favorite part would be watching older people’s mouths drop in disbelief that such a thing could happen at a Christian event. But I digress. I had pretty high expectations for this album since Christian rock, to me, seems to be disappearing ..read more

Written by: Catherine Cochran (9/17/23) Riley Clemmons is a very talented young singer/songwriter that most of you may already be familiar with. On September 22nd, Riley will release her new album, Church Pew. Riley really puts her God given talent, heart, and soul into this album. God gives us each a talent and Riley has taken her talent to good use that can give light to those who may need it. I remember seeing Riley in person at a concert in 2017 with my daughter and late husband. All three of us loved her songs and were delighted to see her not only sing but play her electric piano at t ..read more

Written by: Jay Heilman (9/14/2023) When most music fans hear the name ‘Cory Asbury’ it’s common to think of the song “Reckless Love”. After all, the song was not only a smash hit upon its release in late 2017, but it had managed to dethrone another popular worship song in Hillsong UNITED’s “Oceans (Where Feet May Fail)”. “Oceans”, was one of those songs that I wondered, “will this ever get topped?” After all, it had not only saturated churches around the world during Sunday morning worship, but in my honest opinion – had worn out its welcome. Yes, I said it, it was played ..read more

Written by: Catherine Cochran (9/6/23) Lauren Daigle is releasing her new, self-titled album this week. On Friday September 8, 2023, all her fans and hopefully some new fans, will be able to experience her faithful music. The album has 23 tracks; however, three of the tracks are an interlude and are only 51 seconds long. The rest of the tracks reflect faithful music with a great beat and message. I was excited to review Lauren’s new album because I am a big fan of hers. I became a Lauren Daigle fan when I heard her songs “You Say” and “Look up Child” back in 2018. My daughter and I listen t ..read more

Written by: Celita Diaz-Perillo (Date written: 08/25/2023) Singer, songwriter, and worship pastor, Cory Carnes, had his newest album release, Firm Foundation (Live), today. The name of Jesus is praised, and the Good News message is shared in song. There is no denying that. Several of the songs are ones I have heard before and enjoyed hearing again; others I was not acquainted with. Some of the songs I enjoyed are below. BE GLAD (LIVE) is a great song to shake off the dust of the day and prepare to hear and sing of the Lord’s faithfulness and goodness. ”Give thanks to the Lord, His love endu ..read more

Written by: Laura Chambers (August 21, 2023) There is no higher calling than bringing the truth of God to people whose bodies, hearts, minds, and souls are in need of His healing and salvation. We have been given many talents through which to proclaim the good news of the gospel. Kim Gentry Meyer uses her gifts of poetry, song, and painting (she created the artwork for the album booklet, too) to share God’s love with listeners in her debut album, Herald. “This Isn’t Heaven” admonishes us not to believe the lie that this life is where we should be focusing our attentions. It’s too easy to fa ..read more

Written by: Laura Chambers (August 21, 2023) The Prodigal Son is one of the most poignant parables in the New Testament. Aside from its value as a story (who doesn’t love a happy ending?), it is a tale in which every person on Earth can see themselves; the angry, rebellious child who runs away from the love of his or her Father. What a wonder to discover that God is a Father just like the one in the story; a loving father who
welcomes his penitent children home. Justin Gambino revels in the love of God in Made New, his
sophomore release. “Courage” expresses a firm resolve to believe the tru ..read more
