Lake Como is an absolute hidden gem located in the Bitterroot Valley. I have wanted to shoot there since moving back to Montana last fall. It has stunning rocky beaches, incredible vistas of the bitterroot mountains, and views of the incredible greenery of the lodgepole pine and western larch trees. I met Abbie a longtime ago – in childhood actually – but this is the first time I have had the opportunity to photograph her and her beautiful family. I met the Reeve Family shortly after they welcomed their new baby girl into the world. Katie had contacted me a few weeks prior to having Brooklyn about booking a newborn photography session with me. Given how March’s weather can be wild in Montana, I suggested shooting in a studio (Oiyo Studio) in Missoula. Oiyo Studio is a beautiful natural light studio in downtown Missoula.
