Danielle and Gabe had the picture perfect summer mountain lake wedding a few weeks ago up at Piney River Ranch. They’ve been a blast to work with since their engagement session in Frisco last fall.
Danielle never stopped smiling the entire time he and the ladies were getting ready. Gabe got to play catch with the Gore Range as a backdrop which was something he mentioned to me when we first met. Add in a canoe ride as newlyweds and a few moose sightings and you’ll understand how great of a day they had.
Shayna and her team with Cherry Bomb Events did incredible job coordinating everything and m ..read more

I had a great time with Felicia and Dan during their sunset engagement in Evergreen last month. We met up at the brewery nearby for a beer before heading over to Evergreen Lake for the first part of their session. They were naturals and we had so many laughs.
The sun started to peek through the clouds just as we neared the end of the 15 minute hike to the top of Brother’s Lookout the sun peeked out from behind the clouds. I always love Alderfer/Three Sisters Park because the light can be incredible and it didn’t disappoint.

There is no greater honor than when another photographer asks you to photograph their wedding. Not only is Michael an incredible photographer, but he is a great fiend and also photographs weddings with me a few times a year so this one was extra special. I was able to capture his winter proposal at Devil’s Thumb Ranch and I’m so glad that I had the opportunity to photograph their summer wedding in Crested Butte at Mountain Wedding Garden.
The joy of their day comes through in the images so I’ll let that tell the story.
Thank you Sarah and Michael for allowing Travis and myself to document your ..read more

Destiny and Sean’s Younger Ranch Wedding was was raw and unfiltered from start to finish. The laughter and tears were among the most genuine we’ve ever witnessed on a wedding day. By the end of the day, it felt like we got to know not only them but also everyone involved. These are the days and people that are a prime reason why we feel so privileged to do what we do.
It was a day to celebrate the joining of families and creation of a new one. You can tell how much Madilyn and Brielle share their mother’s love for Sean. It was a joy to document each and every moment on such an important day fo ..read more

Rebecca and Noel had the perfect wildflower micro wedding in Steamboat Springs last weekend. They had 25 of their closest family and friends in attendance to celebrate with them. It was 100% their day as they avoided all the things that weren’t important to them which is something I wish more couples would do.
After getting ready separately, they saw each other during first look prior to sharing their vows with each other privately. They jumped in the side by side ATV and drove us out to a field of wildflowers. It was like nothing that I’ve ever been able to photograph on a wedding day. A quic ..read more

I recently met up with Heather and Stephen for their summertime engagement in Fort Collins. They’re getting married later this year at Arapahoe Basin so they wanted some engagement photos near their home in northern Colorado. We grabbed a beer nearby at Rally King Brewing before walking over to the trail behind their house. Thanks to all the moisture this year everything was lush and green. The light was perfect unter the big willow tree that they love and spend so much time at.
After a quick outfit change we headed over to Horsetooth Reservoir for the second half of the evening. It was a ton ..read more

The past three years since the start of the pandemic have all just blended together. So much has changed since Mid march 2020 when I was photographing an engagement session and the world began to shut down. Little did I know at the time, but we would only capture two full weddings that year. While it was incredibly difficult the past three seasons dealing with all of the cancellations and reschedules, it is rewarding to look at how far we’ve all come since that point.
I’ve been fortunate to work with so many amazing couples and colleagues these past few years. Travis, Michael, Trent, Amy, Aman ..read more

Colorado was showing off for Danielle and Gabe’s fall colors engagement near Frisco. I met up with them at Outer Range for a quick beer before we explored the surrounding area. A secret spot was our first spot and the colors were exceptional. After an outfit change we ventured over to Dillon Reservoir for the rest of the evening.
Not only were the aspen trees stunning but we were also treated to a great sunset to cap off the session.
I can’t wait for their wedding at Piney River Ranch next fall.

Jessica and Sambit’s luxury hotel wedding in Denver at the Four Seasons will be one I’ll remember for a long time. Everything about their day was spectacular but their thoughtfulness for both each other and the people that mattered most to them stood out to me.
When Trent and I walked in the hotel, Donnah with Poised Events was getting things set up and informed me that Jessica’s grandmother wasn’t going to be able to attend the wedding. This kind of thing happens somewhat regularly but I knew how important having her grandmother there meant to Jessica after several conversations together. She ..read more

It’s easy to admit that this was the most anticipated day of the year for me. There is something incredibly special about being asked to photograph such an important day for one of your closest friends. Our mutual love of golf brought us together but that’s only the beginning of our friendship. Anna and I have shared all our highs and lows with each other so it seemed only fitting that we could experience this day together as well. Watching Anna’s face light up and her laugh get even louder around Cait gives me comfort that my friend as found her person. Cait has been a joy to get to know and ..read more
