Wow. We’re both still in awe of the opportunity we had last night. John Platt invited us to perform for his monthly On Your Radar live concert series, which recently moved to the legendary NYC venue The Bitter End. The drive into Greenwich Village was stress-free (sometimes I freak out while driving in cities, but I think traffic was low since folks were still in holiday mode), and we found parking close to the venue. Got everything loaded in and sound check was straightforward.
As we were waiting backstage and watching Zoe’s performance, it began to dawn on me how important this space was and ..read more

We had a lovely concert yesterday down by the water at Holts Landing State Park - had to cut it a bit short for rain, but after we had packed up soggy gear, the weather cleared up quickly for a beautiful sunset over Indian River Bay.
It was really nice to mark July 4th by sharing some folk music outside under the trees. We have complicated feelings about this youngster of a country, but singing songs amongst a bunch of smiling faces (and babies! and dogs!) felt like the right way to celebrate.
I like to think that a nation made up of immigrants, revolution, atrocities, beauty, injustice, oppo ..read more

Hey there friends,
It's hard to believe that it's been 3 years since the world was forced into lockdowns. As a band, we've felt the harsh impact of this pandemic on our ability to make a living and to perform and connect with our fans in person. But we've also seen how music has brought people together during these incredibly challenging times.
We want to take a moment to thank you all for sticking with us through everything. Your support has meant the world to us. As we've been attending and performing concerts more and more frequently, the unique experience that is the joy of live music is n ..read more

The sea can be rough, the sea can be calm, the sea can be a teacher - all in the same day. Correct Course takes the listener on a waltzing journey through life and love through the lens of an adventure-filled nautical journey. Featuring violin, dulcimer, duo harmonies and more, this folky tune reminds us to follow our inner compass. Click the album art to link through to your favorite music streaming platform (or head over to Bandcamp or Soundcloud).

Wow. It’s so difficult to describe all of the joy and love that we felt this past Sunday in Dover at the Sunroom Songwriter's Series house concert. The windows were open, the food was amazing, and the guests were perfect. We say it a lot, but house shows really are the best shows. People are there for the music and for the community and it feels so incredible just to be able to perform to such a loving and attentive audience.
We performed 2 x 45 minute sets of our songs old and new. It was such a beautiful day. If you’re interested in hosting a house concert, you can learn more here ..read more

This past October, we were so honored to be a part of the 30th Annual Delmarva Folk Festival in Hartly, DE! The festival is where we got our start 10 years prior, so it’s always special to return there. Here is a newer song from that set, called “Correct Course.”
Looking forward to playing more festivals this spring & summer ..read more

In August 2021, we had the great privilege of being a part of the virtual lineup for the 2021 Philadelphia Folk Festival. We had grand plans to record a spectacular set in Acadia National Park while vacationing in Maine. Unfortunately, the year continued to throw us curveballs. We were exposed to COVID in Maine, drove home ten hours to quarantine, and subsequently lab-tested positive. We really didn't want to miss out on the fun of the folk fest, so we carried our instruments and recording gear a mile into the woods of Pennsylvania to film our set at a secret location. The sun was setting quic ..read more

I haven’t written a song in 11 months.
Remember at the start of the pandemic, when we were all locked down in our houses and trying desperately to convince ourselves to appreciate the change of pace that was forced upon us? Remember when we were being told, “Shakepeare wrote King Lear during the plague!!” and “Now you have time to start a side hustle!”? It felt like one of the only ways to escape the dystopia seeping into our everyday lives was to be productive. To pretend that we had been given an opportunity instead of a trial to endure.
The pressure was on.
