Friends, it's been quite some time. Life has picked up and much has developed. Hope all is well checking in on you!...
In the spirit of the holiday season, season of reflection, and a time when people suffer with seasonal affected disorder, it was on my heart to share..
Life can be beautiful and taken for granted. Life can control you at ,times.Life is messy. Life is dirty. Life can be ugly. Life as we know it can be too short. It's certainly too short for unforgiveness. Life is too short to hold grudges. Many times we hold on to the very thing that hurt us and it prevents us from becoming ou ..read more

Give thanks in all circumstances for it is God's will for you! Thank you for caring enough about my character and life to test me while I wait. Help me to see my trials as a sign of your love, and to be thankful for it. I pray for strength through your Holy Spirit to walk in obedience, discernment, perseverance, and tenacity. Giving thanks in trials can change your scope of reasoning. By giving life's trials as an offering to God, it gives us power to rise above the ugliness of situations that have you defeated. Sometimes we can even discover the blessing amongst the trials. Show an attitude ..read more

As I progress through this thing we call life, I humbly say, I find that God is elevating me in ways I couldn't ever imagine! He is opening doors I thought were so far to reach post cancer. In moving towards better opportunities, I find I may be leaving some friends behind. It was shared with me that not everyone is going to go with you on your journey.
In this season there are destiny helpers! The enemy is not going to be happy about elevation and climbing to new heights. Yet God whispers to me to remain humble, trust, and keep my faith solely in Him. He had me at the beginning of this proce ..read more

It's that time of the tear between COVID and flu season. Soups , chilli, and hearty meals are in season.
This soup is a version my fitness friends would recommend to cook if fighting a cold. It is a common go to meal when sick with flu like symptoms . The sriracha gives it enough heat to help clear up that congestion for a bit as well. According to WebMd, "Garlic is widely recognized for its ability to fight bacteria, viruses, fungi, and even parasites."
Boost your immune system to fight off illnesses this season! Try it out!

Have you ever wondered the weight that care takers carry? Whether it be brain
cancer or a disease of any type-care takers take on a lot. Caretakers do just that "take care". As much as I've seen in my almost 31 years, I can say I've seen caretakers of many loved ones -Alzheimer's patients, post-surgical patients, Physical Therapy patients, and more. I've too, been the caretaker and know the time and patience it requires. But my, when the roles are reversed and you're old enough to see the loved one's care for you hand and foot-it's a beautiful light. One, to know they genuinely care for you, T ..read more

Do you find yourself playing catch up in life after a traumatic life happening?? I'm sure you have or at least know of someone who has! Can you imagine trying to do it on your own instead of doing it Gods way and on his timeline!? Can I keep it real? It's 2022 and honestly, I can't help but feel like I'm playing catch up. Since 2018 (and even before), normal activities were so different in many forms. From working out, eating, socializing, and even personal/professional relationships took a shift.
Here it is, September 2022 and I have to be nothing short of thankful and grateful for the post ..read more

"Cause me to hear Your loving-kindness in the morning, for on You do I lean and in You do I trust. Cause me to know the way wherein I should walk, for I lift up my inner self to You." Psalm 143:8
We need to pray, listen, and wait. Joyers Meyers once said , sometimes we can hear God as a still, small voice from deep within our heart. Many times God will speak through our inner witness so that we "just know" the truth and it sets us free. Suddenly we know what we should or shouldn't do.
My generation of believers were once referred to as a microwave generation- we want things with a quickness ..read more

CHILDREN'S EYE HEALTH & SAFETY
HOW YOU CAN PROTECT YOUR CHILD'S VISION
August is National Children's Eye Health and Safety Month, and with the new school year and kid's sports programs once again starting, this month is a great time for parents to focus on their children's vision and overall eye health.
