July 5, 2021 – The Atlanta Journal-Constitution By Pamela Miller  A partnership led by the state Department of Natural Resources has been awarded nearly $780,000 to sample, grow and save 14 imperiled plant species. Connecting with Nature through Volunteering At CNC, we are thankful to all of our volunteers who help out in a variety of ways. We asked Bea Hatcher, one of our talented Naturalists to tell us about her experience as a grounds volunteer. Horticulture Happenings By Jacqueline McRae, Horticulture Manager Naturally, there is a lot happening on the grounds here at CNC as the seasons move from summer to fall. In summer there is much work to be done to keep nectar flowing for the butterflies, bees, and other pollinators that visit the grounds.
