I live in California. My parents live in NJ. My mother passed away recently, leaving my 88 year-old father alone. I've been doing a lot of back & forth lately, to help support him (along with help from other family). Renting cars is getting too expensive, and it would be a lot more cost-efficient to buy or lease a car in NJ. Can I do this? Can a dealership in NJ do the tags & registration for me if NJ is not my primary state of residence? What needs to happen to make THIS happen ..read more
