My 2024 Maverick hybrid came in and I ended up passing on it.
The missing heated windshield deicer, the now shiny black side mirrors (I like the body color matching side mirrors), the missing driver door code lock pad, the drop in bed liner that I would have to disassemble and remove and have a SIBL ($550+) added, and the missing bed tie down rails that my 22 has, plus the additional $1500 for the hybrid engine option now for the 2024’s, made it a NO Brainer to keep what I have. The 24’s...

The criteria the auto start stop feature uses to decide when it shuts down is kind of stupid at times. If I forget to do it when I pull into the garage, it shuts down, then turns on when I shift to park. Other times it forgets it has the autostop and I'm at a light for a long time.... then it stops when the light goes green.
It makes me wish I had a manual mode for the start stop for when I'm fully aware I'm going to be there for a while ..read more

I’ve been planning on changing my rear axle fluid with Valvoline gear oil since I’m a Valvoline fanboy. However, the spec for the oil is “75W” and I have no idea what the “-xx” number is.
I’ve got a sampling kit from Blackstone to test a bottle of that fluid and I will post back here when I find out what viscosity it is as well as what they have to say about it ..read more

Buy first adjust later right? I got a Gazelle T4O tent for our camping trips due to the quick set ups and nice interior space. The T4 is pricy but worth every penny with extremely easy set ups the only problem is it only fits in the bed diagonally and given the size doesn't leave much space for cooler, griddle, etc. I spent more than enough time researching the best bang for your buck set up as I don't need a heavy duty set up, just something decent enough to last and keep some money for...

Members, I would love if those with experience far distance flat towing their Maverick Hybrid would chime in.
I have a 2024 XLT Hybrid. I have towed short distances without issue. I plan on long distance towing later in the summer.
I am comfortable with putting the car in and out of Flat Tow Mode. My issue is with what exactly to do after 6 hrs.
I understand - Start > brake > D > N.
My issue is the last sentence: Before continuing to Tow, switch neutral tow on and keep vehicle on for 3...
