We are pleased to share that Vitiligo Society Medical and Scientific Panel Member, Dr Viktoria Eleftheriadou has recently established a new vitiligo treatment centre. The Vitiligo Clinical And Research Centre (Vitiligo CARE) will be open to adult and paediatric patients at Walsall Healthcare & The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trusts. The centre will be conducting clinical research to support the development of new treatments as well as more traditional treatments, as recommended by the British Association of Dermatologists (BAD).

We are extremely disappointed that a new drug that could improve the lives of over 1 million sufferers will not be made available through the NHS.
The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) has announced this week that it will not approve the new drug, Ruxolitinib, for use through the NHS on prescription.
