Just a Feeling: Park City Hybrid Workshop with Daniel Kim

When Daniel Kim reached out and asked if we wanted to help plan his educational styled shoot in Park City, Utah for Hybrid Co., we gave an immediate YES!  Daniel has been a peer of ours for years- we worked together many times, but we are also lucky enough to call him a friend.  His passion, drive, and authenticity shine through in every single image that he takes.  His talents are unmatched.  But the thing we love the most about Daniel is that when he talks, people fucking listen.  He speaks his truth, from his heart, and on his own terms.  He’s not afraid to do ..read more

A Western-Inspired Welcome Dinner at Rancho de los Caballeros: Cecily & Nick

Instead of hosting a more traditional rehearsal dinner for a select few, Cecily & Nick opted to have a full on western themed Welcome Dinner for all of their wedding guests considering people had traveled from all over the United States to be at their event. They requested everyone show up in their best western wardrobe and boy did their guests bring it! BBQ was served on red and white plaid table cloths blooming with sunflowers. The cowboys of Rancho de los Caballeros played old country tunes all night while others branded guest’s boots with the ranch logo. It was the perfect kick-off to ..read more

A Dreamy Backyard Affair with Moody Undertones in Arizona: Kasie & Casey

I’d like to start this post by thanking Kasie & Casey for helping us check off a long-time bucket list item from our list: Have a couple with matching names. “KC Squared,” as we liked to call them, had a beautiful backyard wedding filled with the most perfect fall jewel tones and one of the best ceremony moments we have ever witnessed!  Surrounded by their children and “their people,” they vowed their love to one another…but not without losing a few eyelashes.  You heard that right, Kasie had an entire eye worth of lashes come off mid-ceremony which resulted in her and Casey gig ..read more

A Classic Outdoor Wedding with Lush Florals at Venue at The Grove: Vivian & Lee

Sweet Vivian and Lee…where do I even begin with this one.  V & L’s original wedding date was in March of 2020.  I imagine most of you know what that means by now.  What we didn’t know at the time though, is that they would become our longest running clients EVER.  We were required to postpone their 250 person wedding just days before their event was supposed to happen due to the state of Arizona shutting down all large gatherings due to the pandemic. Like most of you, we didn’t know what was going to happen next and none of us could have predicted needing to postpone t ..read more

Ashley & Derrick opted for an intimate, brunch wedding on a beautiful fall morning in October. If you’ve never planned or attended a brunch wedding, boy are you missing out! They are SO fun and then you have the rest of your day to spend doing whatever you want. In A & D’s case, they headed to the pool cabanas at Mountain Shadows with all of their guests. Surrounded by some of their most special people; the entire weekend was filled with so much love, personal momentums, and lots of laughs. The smiles were contagious. Cheers to this dynamic duo and their life together ..read more

Desert Mountain Rustic Wedding with Mediterranean Inspired Details featured on Carats & Cake: Katy & Hunter

Katy & Hunter came to us as a covid couple, who had already postponed their 2020 Nashville wedding twice, and eventually settled on moving their nuptials to Arizona altogether where they could have a smaller, more intimate celebration near family, while trying to keep everyone safe. That said, they decided to forgo any previous wedding plans they had already made for Nashville, and that meant we had just 4 months to re-plan their entire Arizona event at Desert Mountain Golf Club. Due to our super condensed planning timeline, we got to talk to Katy almost daily, and we grew to love K & ..read more

These cutie patooties are getting married this week and we CAN’T FREAKING WAIT! Brittany and Collin were engaged last year in Park City, Utah and shortly after hired us to help them plan and design their upcoming destination wedding in Scottsdale, Arizona. We figured we probably needed to show all of you their beautiful engagement photos by Larissa Jean Photography prior to the big day, so here we are…ready to share (nothing like squeezing these in last minute- I swear we are good planners!!) B & C live in Dallas, Texas (my “hometown”) so they already hold a special place in our hearts, b ..read more

Fashion Forward Bride and Groom + All the Dopest Custom Details You Could Ever Imagine: Geyse & Adam

Where do I even begin with this wedding?… This wedding changed us. It changed our business. It changed our thoughts on how we approach weddings and our future clients. Geyse (Jay-Z) and Adam came to us asking for a non-traditional, modern art gallery inspired wedding that didn’t “feel like a wedding.” They wanted to host a one-of-a-kind destination event in Arizona, as most of their guests (and themselves) would be coming from Ohio. They already had their venue selected when they hired us. They picked the iconic Mountain Shadows Resort in Paradise Valley and they couldn’t have made a better c ..read more

Ashley & Derrick are just a couple months out from their beautiful brunch wedding at Mountain Shadows. We’ve had so much fun planning with them over the last 5 months…these condensed planning timelines end up being a whirlwind experience but they also allow for us to spend a lot of quality time with these special couples. As we approach their final days as an engaged couple, we felt it was only fitting to share a bit more about their engagement. Also, can we talk about this eye-candy from Saje Photography….HOLY MOLY! Most photos taken in Sedona are pretty breathtakingly beautiful, but the ..read more

Joyful Vow Renewal Brunch Celebration at Andaz Scottsdale

There's no doubt that the last year has been filled with so many ups and downs for engaged couples around the world. From postponements, to cancellations, to plan X, Y, and Z now in the backyard. While many could look at the negatives of the last calendar year, there have also been some insanely cool positives that have emerged. For one, we were ALL reminded why two people get married in the first place. It's not about the wedding and how extravagant and perfect it is, it's about the two people committing their life to one another... through the good times and the bad. It's about the most im ..read more
