Winter Verrado Golf Club Wedding Winter in Phoenix looks a lot different than the rest of the country.  While you scroll through Ashley and Shane’s winter Verrado Golf Club wedding, keep in mind that you’re not going to see snow.  You’re going to see a lot of beautiful colors!   Here is their story – as told by their pastor during the ceremony (he did such a great job, I’m going to repeat it ). We’ll start with Shane – “I knew Ashley for a while before we dated.  She was two feet taller than everyone in middle school and I’ll never forget the day that I realized I had caug ..read more

Verrado Golf Course Wedding Bailey and Dillon grew up in a small town.  She was a year ahead of him in school, and because they hung out with different people their paths didn’t really cross until later in life.  Bailey went off to college and Dillon went out into the military.   At the end of 2019, Bailey lost her Grandma and came home to spend a few weeks with her family.  During this time Dillon was working with her dad and reached out to her as he had just lost his Grandma a few months before and knew what she was going through.  They became really good friends an ..read more

Desert Botanical Gardens Maternity Session One of my favorite things about working in the wedding industry is getting to watch families grow.  I’ve gotten to work with some amazing couples over the years as well as vendors – who I like to call Friendors!  I met Mike YEARS ago during an open house at Windmill Winery.  He and I have done several weddings together over the years.  He recently married Mary and the two of them are welcoming a sweet baby boy into the world in the next few weeks!   Mike (my Mike) and I really enjoyed getting to spend time with Mike and Mary ..read more

There are several things that can throw a timeline off, but today we’re going to touch on our favorite friends – the bridesmaids.  There’s nothing like entering a getting-ready room full of women, and being greeted with hugs and excitement!  It really starts the day’s vibe off great and makes the entire day run so much smoother.  However, there are those times when bridesmaids are running behind and start to panic – which in turn, gets the bride to panic and that’s the last thing we want on her special day! So today, let’s focus on: How Bridesmaids Can Affect Your Timeline Here ..read more

Cave Creek Engagement Session One of my favorite locations to photograph couples over the years has been Cave Creek.  From the rolling hills and mountains to the thousands of saguaro cactus, it really shines like no other!  When Danielle and Chris’ original plans of having a beach engagement fell through, I wanted to take them somewhere special and we decided on Cave Creek. Danielle and Chris met at a bar at West Gate and had been together for a little over 3 years when we shot their engagement photos.  Danielle came home from work one night and was dead tired.  She w ..read more

Troon North Wedding Melissa and Mason’s Troon North Wedding was stunning!  The lush green fairways, majestic saguaro cacti, and panoramic views of the iconic Pinnacle Peak created a truly magical setting that left their guests in awe.   Working with a great coordinator at Meant 2 Be Events, this wedding was fully decked out in candles and beautiful florals from Chasing Bliss Design.  This was a traditional Jewish wedding that consisted of a chuppa (it has four corners and a covered roof to symbolize the new home the bride and groom are building together) beautifully wrappe ..read more

Lost Dog Trail Engagement Brittney and Tyler met during college at Scottsdale Community College.  They had a class together and on the last day of school, he handed her his number and told her she should call him sometime! After dating for a while, they got engaged at his parent’s house on their balcony.  Tyler had rose petals on the ground and a beautiful bouquet of flowers for Brittney. He got down on one knee and proposed, followed by a wonderful dinner on the balcony with champagne!  We had a lot of fun at their Lost Dog Trail Engagement session.  The weather was beaut ..read more

McDowell Mountain Golf Club Wedding We just loved being a part of Heather and Aaron’s McDowell Mountain Golf Club wedding.  These two are just the sweetest couple and their wedding was so much fun to shoot. Aaron and Heather met in high school math class.  She was a sophomore and he was a junior.  They instantly bonded over the fact that they were put in the same group for group class work.  They were the only two in the group not on the football team. When I asked Heather what the best part of her wedding day was, she said, “Getting to celebrate our love story with all ou ..read more
