One of my favorite things about photographing weddings around the state is seeing familiar areas with fresh eyes. Seward is one of the places that I have gone at least once a year since coming to Alaska 10 years ago. I’ve gone for the Fourth of July several times, gone camping many times, hiked lost lake and photographed a few engagement sessions there. Before the wedding Matt gave each of his groomsmen a unique pin – someone got the topatio man, another guy got a martini glass. When at the end of the night I got a little camera pin, I almost cried.
