WASHINGTON (NEXSTAR) - A jury of 12 people was seated Thursday in former president Donald Trump's history-making hush money trial, moving the proceedings closer to opening statements and the start of weeks of dramatic testimony.
Former President Trump says he would rather be out on the campaign trail but for now, he’s back in court and in a rare response we're hearing from President Biden about Trump's legal problems.

DENVER (KDVR) — A campaign that would have put an abortion ban on the Colorado ballot fell short of collecting enough signatures. But on the same day, abortion rights advocates turned in what appeared to be more than enough signatures to put a measure to protect reproductive rights on the ballot this November.
The spring snow on Thursday did not stop advocates from turning in hundreds of thousands of ballot signatures in effort to further protect abortion rights in Colorado.

Republicans accused President Joe Biden of putting climate change over common sense.

WASHINGTON (NEXSTAR) - Congress is poised to vote on a long-awaited foreign aid package this week.
If passed, the bills would send aid to Ukraine, Israel, and Taiwan but it isn't happening without a fight.

WASHINGTON (NEXSTAR) - Wednesday, Senate Democrats voted down articles of impeachment against Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas. He became the second U.S. cabinet secretary ever impeached by the House.
