If you’ve followed me, I’m sure you’ve seen that I spent a lot of time in Nola shooting weddings there. When I first started wedding photography five years ago, I took jobs EVERYWHERE to gain experience. I have always loved Nola for vacationing and really enjoyed shooting there over the years.   Courtney & Jeff are MARRIED! What a crazy week leading into their beautiful wedding day. With severe thunderstorms in the forecast, I wasn't expecting a beautiful, scenic day to unfold. But, within an hour of arriving to Shiloah Farms in Molino Florida near Pensacola, the sun began to shine and it was gorgeous!   Mary Ashley & Hunter are married! They had an amazing day surrounded by friends and family that adore them. The ceremony took place at the beautiful Trinity Presbyterian Church in Fairhope, Alabama followed by a reception at Fairhope Inn Restaurant. She had the sweetest first looks with her grandmothers, bridesmaids, and a beautiful prayer moment with Hunter. After the ceremony, they had one of the best receptions I've attended because of those fun Louisiana folks that know how to throw down!   As a photographer, my main goal is to capture who you two are as a couple. I will try out a variety of poses and let your response lead the session. Sometimes a couple is more comfortable with traditional, light hearted poses. Sometimes, it’s fun and silly! And other times, a couple wants more romantic images and can easily interact with each other in that way! When photographing you, I’ll suggest poses but I’ll always pay attention to if you’re body language to ensure you’re comfortable or would rather switch gears.   I swear I get to work with the kindest families! From the moment I arrived at Kayla's family home in Fairhope overlooking the bay, I felt SO welcomed! So much that I've decided to move in with them and enjoy those water views ;) The wedding was held at the beautiful, classic Sacred Heart followed by a reception at the Venue in downtown Fairhope!
