My car was coated with Ceramic Pro 6 months ago. I want to use ONR to do a rinseless wash. Also, I want to flush off the loose dirt using a battery-powered pressure washer (which only produces about 400 psi and about 0.8 gallons per minute of flow). It also has a foam gun option. I plan to use deionized water to flush off the foam and also for the ONR solution to avoid mineral deposits.
1. Is ONR safe to use on Ceramic Pro?
2. Should I foam the car first before flushing?
3. What foaming product should I use that is safe for Ceramic Pro?

Hi all,
I'm going to do some painting work, and I was wondering if I can use ONR as a water based paint cleaner (similar to 3M Prep Solvent 70). I am going to be using another solved based cleaner as well to get the surface as clean as possible ..read more

Hey all
I'm making this post just to make sure as I plan to put a ceramic coating on my car and will most likely use ONR maybe to wash before but clay lube mainly. I've read that because ONR is soy based, in addition to polymers, it leaves something behind that is reported to affect coatings and their durability?
Instead of just basing of rumours just wanted to check here directly if maybe there is more official info regarding this?
I also plan to keep ONR as my rinseless once I have the coating and that I have read is totally fine. Just before install I wasn't to sure ..read more

Watched that video of Dr. G at MTE that was referred to in a dilution thread. Dr. G stated he started developing ONR in 2005 and it was released in 2006. He said the formula was revised in 2010, 2012, 2015, and 2021. That would make the current version V.5.
I've been keeping track, and I thought we were on V.4. I know I missed the first version (at that time my rinseless washing was restricted to winter and I was using up my QEW), but I bought my first bottle in August 2010 (when it was still in the translucent bottles). Then I bought a small bottle of V.3 (first ..read more

Dr.G's new video was the first I had heard of using ONR at such a strong dilution since it used to be preached that 256:1 was the ultimate dilution and any more than that was simply wasting product. I don't doubt Dr.G knows how his product works, and 21:1 (that's the dilution rounded) would make a great eco-friendly APC---with that being said, I am plum out of ONR and want to know of other's experience with using 21:1-16:1 as an APC for nastier interiors, carpet cleaning, windows [Dr.G mentioned using it at a stronger dilution for windows which I know 256:1 works great for but I do not always ..read more

Hi, all.
I own a 2022 Subaru Crosstrek (with a ceramic coating) and I recently starting doing rinseless washing with Optimum No Rinse Wash and Shine. However, I've been having a lot of drying the vehicle after I wash with ONR. It streaks/smears (not sure what the technical term is), forcing me to go over and over the same area to get it dry. Not only does this take a very long time, but I'm also seeing new scratches and swirl marks on the vehicle, which I think are caused by this drying process. I've tried using a drying aid, but it doesn't seem to help. Also, thi ..read more

Hi folks...
I was wondering... what is the most efficient way to apply a coating (either Opti-Seal or OCW) or for that matter wash and dry a front grille such as this one? I was thinking about spraying with ONR and using a small soft bristled brush, but I was wondering if there were any superior methods out there.
Thanks ..read more

1. After reading and watching videos I understand how ONR encapsulates dirt and protects the surface of my paint. (Coated with Gloss Coat) I think I also heard that the more you ONR the surface, the more it helps protect and keep the surface slick. (I may be paraphrasing, please correct me if you need to). I get the impression that it builds up or at least keeps boosting the surface protection or cleansing properties. True? And if it is, how does it compare to the benefits/lasting effects of Optimum Car Wash?
2. When using ONR as directed I can just wipe off with a micro ..read more

So I posted this about a month ago but didn't want it to get buried as we are moving into the cold frosty winter here in the Poconos and have noticed something different.
I did my first cold washes since exclusively using ONR this summer. Yesterday it was 36f and washed my truck, today was 34f and washed my girlfriends car. I work from home so my truck doesn't see as much crud as her car does. Also her trip to work takes her through some nasty roads, always has black stuff behind the front wheels and the back of her car is like a suction cup and collects ..read more
