In this week's episode we're joined by Hub Member, Vanessa Tillbrook.  Vanessa joined the community at the end of 2022 as began training for Edinburgh Marathon. As part of the Marathon Academy, Vanessa enjoyed the structure and connections with other community members. This enabled her to run 3.46 in the Spring 2023 and gain Good for Age for London.  She then went on to be coached by James and ran 3.31 at the London Marathon gaining her a Boston Qualifying time.  She attributes her success to hard work, strength training, yoga and being resilient in the tough times.  Listen ..read more

In this weeks episode we were joined by Hub member Julia Harrison, part of our Scottish contingent.  Julia joined the Running Hub at the end of 2022, shortly after this her husband discovered he had a brain tumour and their world was turned upside down.  Throughout this all, Julia has remained so positive and used running as a positive outlet to help herself through this situation.
