I recently (1 week ago) bought a 15 Plus & my old phone that I’ll be transferring over the contents of to the 15 is an 8 Plus w/ a 14.5 iOS (I just was dumb & never upgraded my iOS, yes i am ashamed of that this) And now the highest iOS an 8 can have is 16. So one of my questions is: do I have to upgrade the 8 to iOS 16 to be able to transfer to the 15? I've used Apple Wallet for several years. I've never used the order tracking function, and have disabled it in the app. Just upgraded to a new phone, and set up a Wallet widget on the lock screen. But when I open the widget, it immediately goes to the supposedly disabled order tracking page. My husband and I have Google maps on our phones (his is android). Both have notifications set for when the other enters/leaves a location. He gets no notification when I enter/leave. I've researched this and all settings seem to be correct. In scanning my phone, I've noticed a setting not mentioned anywhere. Settings>Privacy>Tracking. 'Maps' isn't listed as allowing tracking. Using files app for picture storage that can be accessed in an effecient manner ( Iphone Pro Max 12 ). Using a system of Parent Folder with subfolders leading to individual pictures. Files app worked fine at first but as the picture volume increased app started to work very slowly.
