Hispanic Heritage Month, running from September 15 to October 15, is a vibrant celebration of the history, culture, and contributions of Hispanic and Latino Americans. This month-long observance honors the rich tapestry of cultures that make up the Hispanic community, from music and art to historical achievements and social progress. Constitution Day is observed on September 17 each year. This date marks the anniversary of the signing of the U.S. Constitution in 1787. It's a day to recognize the significance of the Constitution and to promote understanding and appreciation of the principles it embodies. To celebrate Constitution Day, the Law Library curated a book display to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month. Election Day is coming up on Tuesday, November 5th, but in order to cast a ballot you must first be registered to vote. As you may know, the voter registration deadline for Arizona is coming up quickly on Monday, October 7th. If you need to pick up a voting registration form or want to learn more about voting in Arizona, check out the Law Library's voting registration table, located right across from the circulation desk. With the semester in full swing now, it is easy to forget how important one’s mental health is. Let’s be honest, law school can be stressful, which can impact one’s mental health. As finals approach, you may be looking for a reliably quiet place to study or even take your exams. The bookable study rooms on the lower level of the library may be the perfect place!
