Just before Harlowe’s birthday we got to go see Taylor Swift. I honestly didn’t think we would get thickets, but at the last minute she added a new night to LA so more became available and we were able to snag 3 tickets through Ticketmaster vs the very inflated aftermarket. We decided to surprise to Harlowe since it was just around her birthday and make it her birthday gift which honestly, could you imagine a better gift for a 12-year-old? I could not and thus continues my desire to come back as a Wagner kid.  We were making friendship bracelets one night and I said, “you should make one ..read more

Barbie Pink Activewear

I’ve seen Barbie twice and like most, am highly influenced by the costumes. I am in my ‘Barbie Pink’ era and I see no end in sight. I love how youthful it feels at any age and honestly am here for celebrating my inner child and letting her play dress up when 38-year-old me gets dressed for pilates. Here are a few pieces I have and love or have in my cart and am dreaming about.  I wore this sequin bomber jacket in a reel and I’m not going to say ‘I got so many questions about it’ but it’s a showstopper for sure. I thought about it for way too long before pulling the trigger because it was ..read more

Things I’ve Been in to Lately

I’ve recently taken the plunge into eating red meat. I found it near impossible to reach my protein goal of 109g / day without red meat and I’ve found that (gasp) I actually really enjoy it. I’ve been ordering steaks and ground beef and have them 2-3 times a week and do chicken and fish the rest of the week and not only have I met my protein goals, but also feel really good like I don’t know… I actually have energy and am not hungry all the time.    Yesterday was Summer Solstice and it was luckily one of the first warm and sunny days in LA this season. I know I should never complain ..read more

What’s Your Biological Age + New Reads

This post is sponsored by BabbleBoxx.Did you know everyone ages at a different rate? I’m sure you have a friend or family member who seems to be aging backwards and while I know that’s not possible in this life, I like to try to make that friend ME. I’ve had my biological age tested before with a blood draw and it was super useful to find out all that I did, but it was expensive ($700) and the worst part was, I had to part with 6 vials of blood. I can do that every now and then, but coughing up that much money and blood for longevity research isn’t a regular thing for me. I was super happy whe ..read more

Black Friday Sales to Shop Early

The jewelry brand I wear most often is having a site wide sale. I love their whimsical, cosmic pieces and this is the perfect time to grab some gifts for friends and family that will appreciate how meaningful and unique each piece is.  My favorite place to grab beach accessories is doing a 30% off sale with code BFCM30 which makes the pink tommy chairs everyone asks me about only $129 since they are already on sale! We are huge fans of their umbrellas too because they are beautiful and very well made. If you need a sturdy one that won’t blow away, this is for you.  My favorite p ..read more

Let’s Get Physical: My New Core Workout Guides

My obsession with core work dates back to 6th grade. My parents would watch TV in the living room and I would sit, fit placed under the couch, knees bent with my hands placed gently behind my ears, knocking out crunches. To this day I can not explain why I did that at age 11 (and then never stopped). As a competitive swimmer who had just started performing arts school, I pretty much lived in a one-piece swim suit or dance leotard until high school graduation (nerd alert!) so I surely was not showcasing my hard earned abs.  Something inside of little Bethann just knew this exercise regimen ..read more

3 Easy Summer Recipes

I recently partnered with the health and wellness experts at GOLO to develop three tasty late summer salad recipe ideas inspired by their metabolic meal plan. The first recipe I created was for a delicious Honey Grilled Chicken Salad.  This is one of those salads that I come back to again and again. It’s delicious but also incredibly nutritious… and easy to make. The perfect trifecta! The arugula is one of my favorite superfoods that helps detox and reduce inflammation in the body. The dressing, featuring fresh ginger, is packed with flavor and loaded with nutrients. Honey Grilled Chicken ..read more

This is definitely going to be a journal style entry because I have so much to process and well, this is my personal blog and you like that I do life updates here so we are going with it! I mentioned on Instagram that I had an ectopic pregnancy and the response that I got was unbelievable. I am so grateful that you all care so much to reach out. I never share things for sympathy. I actually hold it all in and only share with close friends and my family until I can share more broadly and finish bad news with, ‘and now I am on the other side and thriving’. Anyone else? I just figure everyone has ..read more

Whoa, I haven’t done this in a long time and to be honest it’s sort of because I lost my love of blogging for a while but lately, I’ve been feeling so different. So excited. So pumped for all of this change that has been happening. Tell me you feel it too.  There’s a lot of change that I’ve been feeling. I think we’ve all been feeling it with Covid, but this started for me the summer before so I will back this story up to October 2019.  I went to a summit hosted by wellness guru, Sophie Jaffe and there was a speaker there who actually changed my life although I didn’t know it that da ..read more

Run for the Oceans

If you’ve followed me on Instagram for any amount of time, you know I love being by the water and running. A nice run on the beach can cure just about any bad day and definitely brings clarity when I need it most. I couldn’t imagine a world where putting one foot in front of the other and breathing in the fresh outdoor air wasn’t possible which is why I’m equally passionate about cleaning the oceans and doing whatever we can to keep them beautiful.  So much of the plastic we throw away ends up in our oceans, with the effects spreading to every corner of the globe. Plastics enter the food ..read more
