“I’ve seen the way how Michael treats Grace. I’ve seen how they love each other. And I’ve seen how they care for each other. It’s all you can ask for.”
You know how our motto is, films for couples totally in love? This is Grace and Michael to a T! After hearing their love story of how they met in college and then spent years of long distance and moving around together in support of each other’s dreams — you could totally see that love for one another on their wedding day. Held at both Saint Raymond’s Maronite Cathedral and Union Station Grand Hall, their classic downtown Saint Louis wedding wa ..read more

“Jad’s the first one that came along where I knew that this guy is real. That he is as selfless as Amanda is.”
What a wedding day! Amanda and Jad’s mid Summer wedding was held in downtown St. Louis at both Saint Raymond’s Maronite Cathedral and the Hyatt Regency. After a beautiful first look at the Arch grounds, the two had a traditional ceremony surround by their family and friends.
Once we got to the reception, held at the top of the Hyatt, I was in awe! What a gorgeous venue. And the best part? Their dance floor was outside under the stars and the Arch. It was such a fun evening and we got ..read more

“To say that we’ve been waiting and waiting for this day would be an understatement.”
After 6 years of having this business, every single wedding day still gets me so excited and feels so different. And that’s exactly how Emily and William’s wedding was! From the moment, we walked into the Chase Park Plaza to capture details and getting ready until the hugs goodbye at their reception — it was such a fantastic day!
Their love for one another was so sweet and I’m so happy we were able to capture it perfectly for their wedding film. I loved getting those “in between” moments of the two of them. A ..read more

You’ve probably heard it a lot as a couple searching for a wedding videographer.
Purchase the raw footage! Ask about raw footage!
And it’s true — many publications, blogs, wedding planners, etc. will tell you that you absolutely need to purchase the raw footage from your videographer. But, when it comes time to receiving it, couples get confused as to why they just received a USB drive with tons of clips on it or what raw footage even is.
So — what exactly is raw footage?
Raw footage straight from camera
Color corrected and graded
Think of it as the ingredients for a dish you’re making. Your ..read more

“This city is special to Maddy and Tony because it’s where they went to school. It’s a place that led them to find each other.”
When I initially got the inquiry from Maddy and Tony to film their wedding, I was like…on a Tuesday?! But then, looking at the date, I got it! 2/22/22 — a date that held a lot of significance to the two of them. That’s what I loved the most about capturing their wedding. They made sure it was about them and their story. The two had met at college in St. Louis and it’s also where they met a lot of their friends. So they decided to have their wedding in the city that br ..read more

How has it been over a year since I’ve written in this series? Well, I mean, 2020 did kind of flip things upside down in the wedding world — so it makes sense. As of today, I am just under 200 days until my wedding! Crazy, right? Garren and I have been engaged since September of 2019 so that fact that we are only months away feels so bizarre. It really hasn’t kicked in yet!
Since we’re around 6 months out until our big day, I wanted to start this series back up, so I can help any new brides or grooms to be out there with their wedding planning. Also, because I’m in the industry, I feel like I ..read more

When I arrive on a wedding day, one of the first things I do is get detail footage. Why? Because it usually takes the longest to do. Trying to find all of the details is the first step, then finding a good spot with good lighting, and then finally getting everything set up the way I like it. But while it does take a while to do, I know that these are things that are important to our couples. I know that the bride probably took hours scrolling through different templates for their perfect invitation suite. Or dropped a little extra money on her shoes because they went so well with her dress. So ..read more

Since today is a Saturday and I should currently be filming our 4th wedding this year, I’m a little down about it. I started watching wedding TV shows, YouTube videos, even wedding TikToks just because I miss filming weddings so much. And because of everything I watched, I got to thinking! What if there was still a way for our couples and all couples who have had to postpone their weddings to celebrate their original wedding date?
While some couples choose a date because their venue has it open or just to pick a date in their favorite month, a lot of couples put a lot of thought and meaning in ..read more

I’ve said it many times before — weddings FLY by! Even as a wedding videographer, wedding days that are supposed to be around 8-10 hours seem to go by in just minutes. And because of that, some couples I’ve spoken to say that they barely saw each other on the wedding day. Between getting ready, pictures, receiving lines, more pictures, and having to greet all your guests — there’s not a lot of alone time for a couple to just enjoy the moment.
So how can you get some more time for just you and your fiance on the wedding day? Well I have two tips! First is — take some time after the ceremony for ..read more

You know, it’s kind of unreal with what’s happened in our country and our world these past few weeks. It seems like things went from 0 to 100 so quickly and a lot of us are just trying to keep up. I hope all of you that are reading this are staying safe and healthy! And if you’re an essential worker, thank you so much for your service during these hard times. You are all so appreciated!
On today’s blog, I was originally planning to post my next You’re Engaged? Me Too! blog for the series. Though with what is going currently with everyone staying home and social distancing, I thought it would b ..read more
