Traditionally for the visa 189, I believe it has been required in order to get points credit in an EOI to have your skills assessment completed prior to receiving an invite. However, as of February 2024 the new policy as outlined on the official website states: Delegates of the Minister will now accept a suitable skills assessment for an applicant’s nominated skilled occupation which has been obtained within the 60 day invitation period. Hi Folks, I'm applying for 261111 ICT Business Analyst and would need your advice on points to expect. Has anyone their Australian Tourist Visa (tourist stream) approved a few hrs/days after biometrics this April in the Philippines? Do they grant visas over the weekend? To give a brief background, I submitted my mom's visa application last April 14 and had her biometrics collected on April 17 (it's the earliest sched available). Hi, I'm from India and I have applied for the Australian Business visa on the 4th of April. I have submitted the required documents - invitation letter from the company, payslips, bank statement, national Identity card, passport pages, entry and exit stamps from current and expired passports.
