I’m looking to get into harmonica and I’m wondering about keys. [3rd paragraph will go straight to point] I know there are chromatic harmonicas that can play all notes and that’s not really what I’m interested in (I just wanna groove to be frank). I’m looking at getting a diatonic harmonica. My main reason for getting into harmonica is king gizzard as well as general blues vibes. Hi, i bought some old used harmonicas (Golden Melody) and i want to take them appart and replace the nails with screws. On the Hohner website you can buy those but they are very overprice. ( 0,64 € each). I know that they cost normaly way less than that. Like for the price of 5 i can get a box with hundred in a hardware store. But i don't know the dimensions. Could someone tell me? Hello, I bought a chrometa 14 because it was cheap. But, some notes seem to stick (around 4-6), and other seem to be out of tune (1-3). and finaly, the hightess frequently make an hyper hight tune very unpleasent. When it was new, it didn't have these problems. And I already clean it. Is it because I'm a beginner ? Or chometa 14 is a toy ? I continue to train, but some time it's very fustrated. I can bend it a bit by pursing my lips. This kind of suffices, it's in tune half a step, but it feels like cheating and actual harmonica players can hear that I'm blagging it. When I go for the full bend it sounds way out of tune and the tone is rough as a bag of ass. Total bum note. I can't risk it when I'm playing live. All my other bends sound pretty sweet.
