I recently completed flying Delta One Honolulu to Atlanta (HNL-ATL), United First class Honolulu to Washington Dulles (HNL-IAD), and American Airlines first class Dallas-Fort Worth to Honolulu (DFW-HNL) from July – September.
After trying 3 different US airlines first class products, I say American offers the best first class, lie flat seats from the US mainland to Hawaii. Hawaiian Airlines lie flat first class looks really good as well but I haven't tried it yet.
My wife and I flew first class on all of these routes thanks to credit card miles and points I accumulated from earning credit card ..read more

American Express, or Amex, has added new “family language” in the terms and conditions of their credit card applications.
The family language restriction means that if you have received a welcome bonus offer on another card in the same family, you may not be eligible to receive a welcome bonus offer on a different card in the same family. This in addition to the other Amex application rules, which include:
No more than five American Express credit cards at any given time.
No more than 10 American Express cards without preset spending limits at any given time.

The $450 annual fee is waived for all US servicemembers on 30 day active duty orders.
American Express offers a tremendous benefit to their military customers: no annual fees on all of their credit cards, including their most prestigious Platinum cards.

Update 18 Feb 2024: Some people are reporting in the comments that they are falling between the cracks of SCRA and MLA.
Most of the issues have been resolved now as issues on the MLA database and in the DEERS database, especially for military dependents (spouses).
I recommend you first confirm that your Social Security Number is correct in DEERS and you are in fact in the MLA database here: https://mla.dmdc.osd.mil/ . If both of those are correct, leave a comment below and I will see what I can do to help.

Update 2024: I am a happy Google Fi customer going on 7 years now. I use a Google Pixel 7 Pro. I now live OCONUS so I disabled the international data. I left the military and if you use too much overseas data, you get suspended from using the overseas data, unless you are on active duty orders overseas for the State Department or Department of Defense.
I just use a local sim card in my current home country. I keep text and phone calls on Google Fi, as you can use that unlimited overseas.
