Last week, we asked students to return laptops that weren’t being used – because we had none to check out to those who needed one. THANKS to all who returned them early; this week, we have just over 100 laptops available to check out! On Saturday, June 26 from 8AM-4PM EDT, ProQuest Ebook Central will move from its current server to Amazon Web Services, and will be offline. During that time, users will not have access to holdings in ProQuest Ebook Central. eBooks from other vendors are not affected. For GRCC users, this means that not only will the content in the ProQuest Ebook Central database be unavailable, links to that company’s eBooks appearing in Library Catalog and GRCC Library OneSearch results will not be active. GRCC Library laptops, hotspots, and other technology items are due to be returned by Thursday, April 29.  Technology must be returned in person to the Library Circulation Desk. During the last week of the semester, in addition to normal hours (M- Th 8-6), the Library will be open two extra days for returns: Friday, April 30 from 8 a.m. – 3 p.m. Saturday, May 1 from 8 a.m. – 1 p.m.  Library books can be returned inside the Library, or, in the blue Book Return box on the Ransom Ave. plaza at the Front Entry.
