Guys, I had a “crunchy gear” issue that I thought I resolved with servicing both front and rear diffs, with new fluid, upgrading to FID diff housings, and finding and replacing an exploded bearing on the front input gear. I did have trouble where I eventually had to remove the shims from the case housings so all gears would rotate smoothly. (Diff would not rotate smoothly with the housing shims front/rear). After all that and new bearings and shims on both input gears, I still have loud... Read more ..read more

Does anyone know any RC race tracks on or off road around Los Angeles CA? I contacted OBR and they said the closest one is in Bakersfield … 102 miles from Los Angeles.. This is sad. I know there is Hot Rod Hobbies and Raceway in Santa Clarita about 30 minutes away but they don’t allow 1/5 scale and they only have a small dirt track ..read more

Well after many years I finally own a Baja lol well kinda. I know the aftermarket world is nuts for these so go easy with recommendations. For now I’m parting this out. I have an idea for a hybrid once I mock up my vision I’ll put this back together and throw in a small block and tool around. Nothing serious ..read more

Hello everyone, I have finally narrowed down my choices between the MCD XS5 gas and the MCD XR5 gas. Both of these cars look great and I have been completely indecisive on which one to get over the past few days. Any thoughts? I currently have a Losi 5T 2.0, HPI Baja 5B, and a Traxxas XRT so was thinking to get either the XR5 or the XS5 for a different type of vehicle ..read more

Best reso exhaust for Stock Zenoah G320
Large Scale RC Forums

Hello everyone, After destroying the engine on my Losi 5t 1.0 (I bought it used), I switched to a stock G320. The built in engine was a King engine of unknown displacement, but probably <.300. The built-in Reso worked well with the old engine, but with the new G320 I lack the effectiveness in the upper speed range (no kick). Which Reso is a good option here? Thanks! Wolfgang ..read more
