Hi Guys brought a second hand KM001 as a cheap way into 1/5th and am loving it, the issue I have at the moment is what appears to be a bent Y piece as the 2 pins that hold the steering posts on keep popping out.
Whats considered a good replacement?
I've seen the Carbon Fibre Bone heads one but wasn't sure as to what people consider the best.
Also I'm debating changing the steering servo and perhaps changing the steering set up as the plastic one feels cheap.
I've been looking at either an...

Hi guys, ok so ive done a mod to my fuel tank to help with the leaking, seems to be working but im a little curious.. The valve ive fit is one way, when i blow into it, nothing, but if i suck, then it opens up (ok that sounds wrong on so many levels! but you know what i mean hopefully!)
So my question is... I was under the impression that the tank needs to vent? Pressure builds up in tank & it needs to escape, ie: vent pipe? or gas cap if stock?
But my vent cap works opposite direction, it...

Hi guys,
ok I tried everything there is to try regarding the low end/torque for my dibby, but no matter what, it lacks!
What ive tried...
Gearing, tried 19T which is the lowest, helped a little but not a lot & barely noticeable & lost a lot of top end, so this was a no go.
Carb (pressure point, also a brand new carb!)
Different size Rims/Tires
Retuned a few times...
The only thing i haven't done is try a different pipe (and engine!). From the beginning I had a feeling it was a pipe issue...

Found this in on ESP’s website. 6.2HP!?! I digress. Just wondering if any others have noticed that 8000rpm is the sweet spot for clutch spring? I bought a couple other strengths - 7,500 and 9,000. But is it a waste of time to use anything other than the 8,000 rpm spring ..read more

Hey guys wanted to know if anyone would have the info on this... I have a 5th scale taylor 65cc engine that comes with a samba big bore pipe. SUPER loud. Hard to find spots to run it onroad... unlike offroad. So I grabbed a rc scale gas engine muffler.... and It works fine but it cannot rev up as much... almost like its too rich or too lean. Pretty sure its too rich... but I was going to lean it out a little. but is that a good idea? I know the engine max safely you can lean in any situation...
