Celtic have announced the signing of Daizen Maeda, Rep Hatate, and Yosuke Ideguchi from the Japanese J-League, joining fellow countryman Kyogo Furuhashi at Celtic Park. Forward Daizen Maeda has joined from Ange Postecoglou’s former club Yokohama F Marinos, midfielder Yosuke Ideguchi signs from Gamba Osaka and utility man Reo Hatate moves from Kawasaki Frontale. Ideguchi and Hatate have both signed four and a half year deals, while Maeda has signed on loan with him signing for Celtic permanently in the summer. Celtic have announced the departure of midfielder Ewan Henderson to Premiership rivals Hibernian on a six month loan deal, before joining the Easter Road side permanently at the end of the season. Celtic have announced the signing of Legia Warsaw full back Josip Juranovic on a five year deal, subject to work permit clearances. The 26-year-old will join for a reported £2.5m fee and becomes the club's eighth new signing following those of Osaze Urhoghide, Liam Shaw, Liel Abada, Joe Hart, James McCarthy, Carl Starfelt and Kyogo Furuhashi. Hot on the heels of Kris Ajer signing for Brentford, Celtic have announced the signing of Rubin Kazan defender Carl Starfelt for around £4 million, on a four year deal. Starfelt began his career with IF Brommapojkarna, before joining IFK Gotenburg in 2018. Celtic have announced this afternoon, following a meeting with Glasgow City Council’s Safety Advisory Group, that 18,500 fans will be allowed access to Saturday’s friendly against West Ham United at Celtic Park.
