For the first nine years of his career, Andre Agassi avoided coming to the Australian Open. So, it was with some trepidation that the two-time major champion arrived in Melbourne in 1995 eager to add a third Grand Slam title to his collection. Much to his surprise, not only was he embraced by the public, but he was spurred on all the way to the championship.
