Hi everyone , I honestly don’t know where to start with this. On September 14th I had 2 good grade embryos transferred , come september 26th we got our BFP! I had HCG blood tests done to which showed it was increasing well my stomach was in full bloat form and my chest was tender … come Sunday the 8th of October I woke to a flat stomach and hardly any tender breasts anymore , I kind of knew from there something was not right , I think us women who have been through infertility get to learn... Please can someone help, I am 5wks 3 days pregnant and have been taking cod liver oil for months which contains 750mcg of retinyl palmitate I am so worried it has harmed the baby? So I’m on the waiting list to commence first cycle of IVF. I have had all the pre checks but waiting for the first “treatment” appointment I was told it will be aprox end of oct/start November. But… I’ve just got a BFP! Im really really anxious and our wait for IVF has been a long one after backlogs from covid. I’m not sure if I tell the fertility clinic? Hi all. I’ve had a fresh embryo transfer which has resulted in a positive pregnancy test. About 5 days post embryo transfer I started getting terrible cramps in my stomach, feeling sick, gassy, unable to eat much as was feeling rather full quickly. The symptoms progressed to severe bloating and a really uncomfortable tightness all around my abdominal area. I had a frozen blastocyst transferred (from from 2014) on Monday, the 21st of March 2022, so 3 days ago. But after it was thawed it was still collapsed. They transferred it anyway. I’ve had collapsed frozen ones transferred before and never ended in good news! So I’m kind of thinking this will be a BFN ..read more

Hi all, I am looking for some advice of what I should expect from my clinic as I am feeling they haven't been very helpful but I don't know if this is the norm. I am just over 4 weeks post transfer and have been testing positive since 9DPT. I am taking 4 x 2mg oestrogen (Elleste solo) per day and was initially taking 3x day utrogestan (pessaries). Hi all, Just looking for a bit of advice. I recently got a bfp after round 4 of ivf (we transferred two day 5 blastos). Just had our early scan at 6+2 where we saw one baby with a heartbeat!!! And another sac which they are unsure whether there is another baby in thetr or not as its too early to tell. Reading the NHS website: Combined test (Dating scan) you will have a blood sample taken. At the scan, the fluid at the back of the baby's neck is measured to determine the "nuchal translucency". Your age and the information from these 2 tests are used to work out the chance of the baby having Down's syndrome, Edwards' syndrome or Patau's syndrome....
